2022 Whistler Vineyard, Estate Viognier Old Block, West Sonoma Coast

The 2022 Viognier was whole cluster pressed and fermented in French oak barrels with 20% new. The wine is very fragrant with a nose of ripe nectarine, guava, honeydew melon, and white flowers. The mouthfeel is rich with great texture and a long lingering finish of stone fruits, tropical fruits, and fresh fig backed by bright acidity and minerality. This is a very distinctive and elegant wine with a richness and freshness that is rarely achieved with Viognier. Ready to enjoy now and will continue to develop for the next 5+ years.
